Long Standing Nuneaton Interiors Business Opens New Premises on the Former ‘Greens Antiques’ Site in Coventry!

Classic Interiors of Nuneaton will soon be opening a new store on Rugby Road, Binley Woods, on the island of the A46 opposite TGI Fridays, on the site formerly occupied by ‘Greens Antiques’ whose famous landmark was a giant giraffe and a gorilla!

Classic Interiors currently have a 14,000sq ft showroom on Weddington Road, Nuneaton, CV10 0AD, and are well established in the area.

Starting out in 1990 in a small 800sq ft showroom in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, selling sofa beds and carpets, the company expanded in 1992 with a super showroom on the A5, Nuneaton, where they enjoyed 10 years of very good success serving customers in the Hinckley and Nuneaton areas. Over the next few years, the business moved twice before settling in its current store on the Weddington Road, next door to Wickes DIY, where it has successfully traded for the last 17 years.

Classic Interiors specialise in bespoke ranges of sofas, furniture, upholstery, carpets and curtains, often changing the look of a whole room for customers in just one day. They have a design centre where customers can browse for themselves or consult one of several experienced sales personnel, who will help them in their quest for satisfaction, both in quality and design.

Our sofa collection consists of handmade suppliers who are able to make bespoke sofas with the width, depth and height to meet a customer’s individual needs. We have hundreds of fabric options available on these models, including leather.

Dining sets or single tables are available, be it modern or more traditional. Finishing touch accessories like pictures, mirrors, lamps and ornaments are also available.

Home visits or appointments are also options that the busy person can take advantage of, and a design service is also optional.

By making the move to Coventry, Classic Interiors hope to bring their unique blend of service and quality that has become the hallmark of their success to a larger audience. Opening hours will be from 10am - 5pm daily with Sunday trading from 11am - 5pm.

When it comes to delivery, our driver Gary has been with the company for nearly 30 years, and nothing is too much trouble for him. We deliver to the room of the customer’s choice, unwrap the goods and dispose of the packaging. Gary then shows the customer how items work and makes sure they are satisfied with their purchase before he leaves.

The main reason for our success over 34 years has been the policy of only sourcing quality products that not only look good but are long lasting. You can always be assured of quality, service and style at Classic Interiors, where the motto is, “the answer is yes, what’s the question?”

The new Coventry site has ample free parking and will be shared with a well-established cafe called the ‘Caffeine Project’, who like Classic Interiors, has a loyal customer base that also pride themselves in service and quality.
