Win A Family Ticket for Styvechale Open Gardens 2022!

After a two year absence, Styvechale Open Gardens is back! The event will take place on Sunday 12th June from 11am until 5pm.

This year, there will be up to 15 lovely mature suburban gardens open, including some opening for the first time. Each garden is different in style and size.

For our regular visitors, in addition to the new gardens, some gardeners have used the break to make changes so it’s well worth a return visit. Our gardens vary from the exotic to the cottage garden. There are formal gardens with colourful borders, gorgeous roses, water features, vegetables, shady areas and more. Plenty for you to see and perhaps some ideas that you can take home. There will even be plants for sale in some gardens. Refreshments will be available during the day in some gardens and outside at Budgens in Daventry Road. Take a seat, relax and enjoy the gardens.

Three of our gardens have appeared as “garden of the week” in Garden News magazine. One of which also won the Daily Mail National Garden Competition in 2017 and more recently a special award for plant combinations in a competition run by the horticultural charity, Perennial. This was judged by Alan Titchmarch.

Styvechale Open Gardens are part of the National Garden Scheme of private gardens opening occasionally for charity. Warwickshire has many open garden groups, and they are all well worthwhile visiting. In 2019 Warwickshire NGS gardens had nearly 11,000 visitors and raised £70,000 for charity. The full list of gardens open under the NGS is available on www.ngs.org.uk.

To be in with a chance of winning a family ticket simply answer the following question:

Which magazine have three of our gardens appeared in as “garden of the week”?

Three family ticket prizes are available. Please send your answer to the above question before 4th May 2022 by completing the competition entry form below.
