Alcester Town Council Update - February/March 26
Alcester to Sparkle at Window Wanderland Festival 2026!
From Saturday 28th February - Saturday 7th March 2026, Alcester will be lighting up the winter nights! This year, in a change from its usual week, Alcester is joining the national Window Wanderland festival in February.
What is Window Wanderland?
It’s a sparkling, joy filled walking trail of enchanting window displays, gardens and glowing street displays that transform our town into a winter wonderland. Alcester will be part of a nationwide celebration with a heartwarming theme: HOPE.
A Tradition of Magic
Window Wanderland first started in Bristol in 2015 and has since brought neighbourhoods together in a beautiful and festive way. The festival’s founder, Lucy Reeves-Khan, says, “What’s wonderful about Window Wanderland is that it’s a true reflection of each unique area. I can’t wait to see what Alcester comes up with!”
Local organiser, Alison Leask, shares, “This will be Alcester’s seventh consecutive Window Wanderland. Whether you create a display or simply enjoy the trail, it’s all about fun, community, and bringing some magic to the town.”
