New Community Shed

The new Alcester Community Shed was officially opened on 25th October 2024, a year after the transformation of the old squash courts behind the Greig Hall in Alcester commenced.

Attendees included our wonderful volunteers and Committee Members, local business partners and Councillors and staff at the Town Council; all of whom have played a key role in helping with this ambitious project.

Other guests included Manuela Perteghella MP, Cllr Susan Juned, Leader of Stratford District Council, Cllr Heather Timms from Warwickshire County Council and the Mayor of Alcester, Cllr Mike Bowe.

Modelled on the Men’s Shed movement, our Shed is now a fantastic facility for the whole community and will be open to all residents to take part in making, mending, having fun and generally enjoying the company of others.

If you would like to know more about the Community Shed, please email alcestercommunityshed@gmail.com or phone 07863 558604. Also check out the Facebook page www.facebook.com/alcestercommunityshed/.
