NGS Spring Openings 2023

“Thank you for your support for the National Garden Scheme, visiting gardens, buying plants and making donations. In Warwickshire last year your visits raised over £50,000 for our nursing and health charities.” Liz Watson, County Organiser for Warwickshire.

In 2022, this well-loved charity donated £3.11 million to its nursing beneficiaries.

Springfield House was the first inn behind the lines at the back of Edgehill and used, more than likely, by Royalist officers. Luxuriant abundance of plants including rare tree peonies, gunnera and copious wild strawberry grown for ground cover, all fed by underwater stream. A greenhouse pane remains cracked from a game of schoolboy cricket decades ago.
