We Are Back…Brinklow Scarecrow Festival

After our last one three years ago – we are back, and what fun we had this year!

Our main Festival events were on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August, from 10.30am to 6pm, on the playing field. The Scarecrow Trail ran from Saturday 27th until Friday 2nd September.

We remember the wonderful weather and the fantastic turnout in 2019, which benefitted many village groups, including St. John’s Church, United Reform Chapel, Scouts, WI, and Brinklow Community Hall. But what entertainment we had this year, our Dog Show and display plus RAF Hurricane Fly-Past on Saturday. Classic Car Display, model railway layout of Brinklow station by Milton Keynes Model Railway Club, plus RAF Lancaster Fly-Past on Sunday.

On both days we had our main stage with live music, 30 craft stalls, grand raffle, tombola, inflatables, children’s rides and activities, various food outlets on the field and of course cakes and refreshments in the Scout Hut, church and chapel, plus three great pubs for food and entertainment carrying us through the evening.

To top it all, of course, our famous 100+ Scarecrow Trail. We pride ourselves in giving a value day out for all the family and no matter what your age, there is ‘something for everyone’. Please see our website www.brinklowfest.co.uk for more information, including car parking facilities.
