Private View: Glorious NGS Gardens Open By Arrangement

Within the growing family of Warwickshire NGS garden owners, you will find a group which takes particular pleasure in welcoming visitors into their exceptional gardens by special arrangement on a pre-arranged date.

These are our Open By Arrangement (OBA) gardens which owners open for a nominal sum destined for the cancer and palliative care beneficiaries that the National Gardens Scheme has been supporting since 1927. Our current beneficiaries include Macmillan Nurses, Hospice UK, Parkinsons UK, Marie Curie, Carer’s Trust, Maggie’s and the Queen’s Nursing Institute.

At an unhurried pace, the full range of NGS garden styles – new, familiar, large, small, wildlife, formal, cottage or potager – may be strolled through, with the garden owners on hand and keen to answer any queries.

Teas and light refreshments can be arranged with the garden owner prior to the visit and so the varied horticultural delights on offer can be enjoyed in a thoroughly pleasant outing for groups of garden visitors.
