North Warwickshire Citizens Advice - You’ve Never Been Needed More Urgently

The cost of living has increased, and individuals are facing difficult challenges. People who are already making tough choices are likely to face ever more difficult and unimaginable decisions.

As part of the national network of Citizens Advice offices, we’re right at the front line offering everyone free and impartial help throughout Warwickshire. We believe that we are one of the most dynamic providers of this service in the country and are constantly looking for new and innovative ways of building our service to make it accessible to those who most need it.

In this environment it’s vital that we develop a bold, imaginative and sustainable plan for the future of our service. It’s both a humbling and exciting experience to serve as a Board member of Citizens Advice and that’s why we need individuals like you to join us as Trustees. Without doubt, it’s a role that’s never been more important and challenging.

What you can give:

Your knowledge, sound judgment, creativity and decision-making skills are much needed. Your voice counts with us. Your real commitment to our values and aims.

Your ability to represent the diversity and appreciate the needs of the clients we serve.

Your skills, experience and talents can be broad-based - not just in the charity or volunteer sector.

What’s involved:

You need to be able to attend around four to six board meetings a year. These may last about three hours in general. There may also be some sub-committee meetings which involve reading/research.

What’s next:

If you are interested in volunteering as a Trustee with North Warwickshire CA, you can have an informal, friendly chat with the Chair of the Board of Trustees North Warwickshire Citizens Advice. Please contact Roger Minett on 07377 128927, or please send a CV and covering letter explaining why you wish to become a Trustee for Citizens Advice to rminett@btinternet.com.
