Imagine Theatre Launch Their Very Own Podcast, Just Imagine

Imagine Theatre, one of the country’s top pantomime producers, are delighted to announce the release of their brand new podcast, Just Imagine.

In each episode the host, Martin Ballard, former host on BBC Leicester and experienced pantomime dame, will chat with one of the many people that the company have worked with to learn everything about them, from how they started out in the industry, to what their job involves, their highs and lows and their most memorable moments.

In the first episode Martin talks to Steve Boden, Managing Director of Imagine Theatre, to learn how he came to run one of the biggest pantomime companies in the UK, his love of theatre, and what effect the current pandemic has had on the business and the industry as a whole.

Sarah Boden, Business and Marketing Director of Imagine Theatre, says, “We have spoken about doing a podcast for a few years and the extra time that we have had as a result of the pandemic meant that we were finally able to develop the idea further.

“We are delighted to have someone as experienced as Martin onboard with us for this project. We have worked with him for around twenty years now on panto and with his wealth of broadcasting experience we know the podcast is in excellent hands.”
