What’s Happening at Kenilworth Town Council?

Greetings to all residents and visitors of Kenilworth. Your Town Council sends you best wishes for the Christmas and New Year season.

As we look around the town, we are grateful for the efforts of shop owners, hospitality venues and residents for decorating windows, welcoming visitors, and helping Kenilworth be a place where we can come together to celebrate the season.

After our hot summer and warm autumn, the weather turns colder and we are all being careful with our use of energy, please remember to look out for your neighbours. In icy weather there is a small amount of grit which can be collected from Jubilee House for any vulnerable residents. Please call the office on 01926 859155 to arrange this if needed.

Do look out for the special events around this time like the Carols in the Castle on 17th December at 6pm and Boxing Day Duck race at 12pm midday, organised by our amazing local Lions. Have you seen Santa on his journey around the town with his helpers from Round Table and Ladies Circle? The Kenilworth Mayor Samantha Louden-Cooke will welcome everyone to our Castle between 10am and 12pm midday on Boxing Day.

If you are unable to attend the Castle for the Boxing Day event, did you know that all residents over 16, living within Kenilworth, can gain free entrance to the castle with their residents' pass? The pass is available from the Town Council for a small administrative fee, and all can now be completed digitally through our website at this link www,

As 2022 draws to a close and 2023 begins, the Councillors and staff of Kenilworth Town Council are looking forward to continuing to work with Kenilworth residents to make Kenilworth a great place to live, work, play and learn.
