The secrets out! Once thought of as a Secret Society, The RAOB, often called the Buffs, are a fraternal organisation supporting social and welfare needs of our members. Fun, Friendship and Fundraising are the reasons we meet. This year we have sent 2 ambulances to the Ukraine, provided financial support to Zoe’s Place, the Stroke Association and various local good causes. We aim to provide help and funds for those in need. We assist individuals and families in crisis, provide items of essential household equipment, distribute food parcels and make donations to local schools and other charities. We are all volunteers committed to helping those in need. We are non-political, non-religious and have no cultural boundaries or gender discrimination. We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm. The meetings are as follows: 1st & 3rd Tuesday via Zoom. 2nd & 4th Tuesday at The Manor Hotel, Meriden, CV7 7NH with a 3 course dinner. 5th Tuesday Fellowship (see website). Located just outside Warwick this historic, beautifully restored walled kitchen garden, which dates back to Georgian times, has a variety of trees, shrubs, flowers, fruits and vegetables to interest and delight everyone. The garden is cared for by a team of volunteers who will be thrilled to introduce you to this hidden horticultural gem. Open Wednesdays & Fridays 10am-3.30pm, Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-3.30pm.
